(A) Who we are
QEVRØN is a practice of 22 architects, interior designers and landscape architects. We take on a small number of projects each year and see every one through from the first site visit to the year after the keys.
Mette Lund and Jonas Aal founded the studio in Copenhagen in 2014 and opened Lisbon in 2019. Both studios share one drawing table, one set of standards and one rule: we visit the site in every season before we fix a single window.

(B) How we think
Three rules
01
Site first
We spend a full season with every plot before we draw. The site decides the plan, not the other way round.
02
Light is a material
Every window is placed by a daylight model, so each room gets light at the hour it is actually used.
03
Fewer, better rooms
We would rather build one room you love than three you walk through. Smaller footprints, longer lives.
